100 trava-línguas em inglês, com áudio e modo treino

Trava-língua não serve para você acertar. Serve para você errar devagar, no mesmo lugar, até o músculo aprender o caminho.

São 100 tongue twisters organizados por dificuldade e pelo som que cada um treina. Cada frase tem áudio em três velocidades, o sentido em português e um modo treino que grava a sua voz para você comparar com a pronúncia de referência.

O método, em três passos: ouça devagar sem falar, repita em pedaços de três ou quatro palavras, e só acelere quando a frase sair limpa na velocidade normal. Velocidade sem articulação não treina nada, só reforça o erro.

Seu navegador não tem voz em inglês instalada, então os botões de ouvir não vão funcionar. O modo treino de gravação continua disponível.

  • R americano — A língua se enrola para trás e não toca em nada. Nada do R vibrado do português. 11 trava-línguas
  • Som L — No fim da sílaba o L não vira U. Ball não é 'bou'. 7 trava-línguas
  • S no início — Palavra que começa com SK, ST, SL, SW ou SP não leva I na frente. Ski não é 'iski'. 16 trava-línguas

Por que trava-língua funciona

Pronúncia é motricidade, não é teoria. Falar inglês exige movimentos de língua, lábio e mandíbula que o português nunca pediu de você, e músculo se treina por repetição, não por explicação.

  1. Repetição concentrada. Um trava-língua repete o mesmo som dez vezes em cinco segundos. Uma conversa normal levaria minutos para dar essa quantidade de treino.
  2. Erro isolado. Como a frase quase não tem sentido, sua atenção vai inteira para o som. Não dá para se esconder atrás do contexto.
  3. Feedback imediato. Você percebe na hora que tropeçou. É por isso que o modo treino desta página grava a sua voz: ouvir a própria gravação mostra erros que você não percebe enquanto fala.
  4. Velocidade por último. Comece lento e articulado. Acelerar cedo demais só ensina o músculo a errar mais rápido.
