Kevin is originally from America but recently moved to Germany due to his job. Since moving to Germany, he has learned about many things that make him not only love living in Germany but also prefer living in Germany to the USA.
The biggest reason is the affordable cost of living in Germany. Depending on which city and state in the USA, the cost of living can easily be over a thousand US dollars per month excluding rent whereas living in Germany costs about the same amount in US dollars but including rent.
Another reason Kevin prefers living in Germany is because of the better work-life balance. Work hours in Germany are generally shorter than in the USA and there is more encouragement to prioritize having personal or leisure time instead of working around the clock like a machine.
It also doesn’t hurt that the beer is tastier in Germany too!
