Scene: First day back at school after summer break. Mia and Jake run into each other in the hallway, excited to catch up.
Mia: Jake! Hey! It’s so good to see you. How was your summer?
Jake: Good to see you too, Mia! It was great. I went to the coast for a month. Have you ever been to Cornwall?
Mia: No, I haven’t! What did you do there?
Jake: I went swimming every day, spent a lot of time on the beach, and even built this huge sandcastle with my little brother.
Mia: That sounds amazing! I went to the mountains—up north.
Jake: Oh cool! Why did you go there?
Mia: My grandparents have a small cottage there. I try to visit them every summer.
Jake: Nice! So what did you do?
Mia: I helped them in the garden, hung out with some friends from the village, and we explored the forest trails. Have you ever been to the mountains?Jake: Not really. I’ve always been more of a beach person in the summer!
