SCENE: Inside a pharmacy on a Tuesday afternoon. A customer approaches the prescription counter where a pharmacist is working at a computer.

PHARMACIST: Hi there! How can I help you today?

RACHEL: Hey! I need to get a prescription filled.

PHARMACIST: Sure, do you have the prescription with you?

RACHEL: Yes, here you go. My doctor just called it in this morning, but she also gave me a paper copy.

PHARMACIST: Perfect, thank you. Let me look this up in our system… okay, I see it here. It looks like this is for amoxicillin?

RACHEL: Yeah, that’s right.

PHARMACIST: Great. This should be ready in about 20 to 30 minutes. Is that okay?

RACHEL: That’s fine. I can wait. How much will it be?

PHARMACIST: Let me check your insurance real quick. Do you have your insurance card with you?

RACHEL: Oh yeah, here it is.

PHARMACIST: Thanks! Just give me one second to process this…

The pharmacist types on the computer.

PHARMACIST: Okay, with your insurance, your copay will be $10.

RACHEL: Oh, that’s not bad!

PHARMACIST: Yeah, you’re all set. We’ll text you when it’s ready, or you can just come back in about half an hour.

RACHEL: Perfect! I’ll just browse around and come back.

PHARMACIST: Sounds good! Is there anything else I can help you with today?

RACHEL: No, that’s it. Thanks so much!PHARMACIST: You’re welcome! See you in a bit!

39. At the Pharmacy II 39. Na Farmácia II

SCENE: Inside a pharmacy on a Tuesday afternoon. A customer approaches the prescription counter where a pharmacist is working at a computer. CENA: Dentro de uma farmácia em uma tarde de terça-feira. Um cliente se aproxima do balcão de prescrições onde um farmacêutico está trabalhando em um computador.

PHARMACIST: Hi there! How can I help you today? FARMACÊUTICO: Olá! Como posso ajudá-lo hoje?

RACHEL: Hey! I need to get a prescription filled. RACHEL: Ei! Preciso aviar uma receita.

PHARMACIST: Sure, do you have the prescription with you? FARMACÊUTICO: Claro, você tem a receita com você?

RACHEL: Yes, here you go. My doctor just called it in this morning, but she also gave me a paper copy. RACHEL: Sim, aqui está. Meu médico ligou esta manhã para passar, mas ela também me deu uma cópia em papel.

PHARMACIST: Perfect, thank you. Let me look this up in our system… okay, I see it here. It looks like this is for amoxicillin? FARMACÊUTICO: Perfeito, obrigado. Deixa eu procurar isso no nosso sistema… ok, estou vendo aqui. Parece que é para amoxicilina?

RACHEL: Yeah, that’s right. RACHEL: Sim, isso mesmo.

PHARMACIST: Let me check your insurance real quick. Do you have your insurance card with you? FARMACÊUTICO: Deixa eu verificar seu seguro rapidinho. Você tem seu cartão de seguro com você?

RACHEL: Oh yeah, here it is. RACHEL: Ah sim, aqui está.

PHARMACIST: Thanks! Just give me one second to process this… FARMACÊUTICO: Obrigado! Me dá só um segundo para processar isso…

The pharmacist types on the computer. O farmacêutico digita no computador.

PHARMACIST: Okay, with your insurance, your copay will be $10. FARMACÊUTICO: Ok, com seu seguro, seu copagamento será $10.

RACHEL: Oh, that’s not bad! RACHEL: Ah, não é ruim!

PHARMACIST: Yeah, you’re all set. We’ll text you when it’s ready, or you can just come back in about half an hour. FARMACÊUTICO: É, está tudo certo. Vamos te mandar mensagem quando estiver pronto, ou você pode simplesmente voltar em cerca de meia hora.

RACHEL: Perfect! I’ll just browse around and come back. RACHEL: Perfeito! Vou só dar uma olhada e volto.
