SCENE: A sunny Saturday morning in a living room. Two friends are sitting on the couch with coffee mugs, discussing how to spend their free day. Sunlight streams through the window.

MAYA: This is so nice! We have the whole day free. What should we do?

LIAM: I don’t know. What are you in the mood for?

MAYA: Well, we could catch a movie, go for a walk in the park, rent some bikes… anything really. Do you have any ideas?

LIAM: Hmm, I’m not really feeling a movie today. It’s such a beautiful day outside. We should do something outdoors.

MAYA: Yeah, you’re right. The weather is perfect!

LIAM: What about taking a walk in the park? Or we could go bike riding. Or maybe just sit at a coffee shop outside?

MAYA: I’m not really hungry right now, so let’s skip the coffee shop. A walk in the park sounds really nice actually.

LIAM: Cool, I’d enjoy that too. We can figure out what else we want to do later.

MAYA: Perfect! I’m so glad we have a chill day together.

LIAM: Me too. It’s been forever since we just hung out.

MAYA: I know! Okay, let me grab my shoes and we can go.

LIAM: Sounds good. I’ll get my sunglasses.

They get up and head toward the door.

33. Our Saturday 33. Nosso Sábado

SCENE: A sunny Saturday morning in a living room. Two friends are sitting on the couch with coffee mugs, discussing how to spend their free day. Sunlight streams through the window. CENA: Uma manhã de sábado ensolarada em uma sala de estar. Dois amigos estão sentados no sofá com canecas de café, discutindo como passar seu dia livre. A luz do sol entra pela janela.

MAYA: This is so nice! We have the whole day free. What should we do? MAYA: Isso é tão bom! Temos o dia inteiro livre. O que deveríamos fazer?

LIAM: I don’t know. What are you in the mood for? LIAM: Não sei. Para o que você está com vontade?

MAYA: Well, we could catch a movie, go for a walk in the park, rent some bikes… anything really. Do you have any ideas? MAYA: Bem, poderíamos assistir a um filme, dar um passeio no parque, alugar algumas bicicletas… qualquer coisa mesmo. Você tem alguma ideia?

LIAM: Hmm, I’m not really feeling a movie today. It’s such a beautiful day outside. We should do something outdoors. LIAM: Hmm, não estou realmente a fim de filme hoje. Está um dia tão lindo lá fora. Deveríamos fazer algo ao ar livre.

MAYA: Yeah, you’re right. The weather is perfect! MAYA: É, você está certo. O clima está perfeito!

LIAM: What about taking a walk in the park? Or we could go bike riding. Or maybe just sit at a coffee shop outside? LIAM: Que tal dar uma caminhada no parque? Ou poderíamos andar de bicicleta. Ou talvez apenas sentar em uma cafeteria do lado de fora?

MAYA: I’m not really hungry right now, so let’s skip the coffee shop. A walk in the park sounds really nice actually. MAYA: Não estou com fome agora, então vamos pular a cafeteria. Uma caminhada no parque parece muito legal na verdade.

LIAM: Cool, I’d enjoy that too. We can figure out what else we want to do later. LIAM: Legal, eu também gostaria disso. Podemos descobrir o que mais queremos fazer depois.

MAYA: Perfect! I’m so glad we have a chill day together. MAYA: Perfeito! Estou tão feliz que temos um dia tranquilo juntos.

LIAM: Me too. It’s been forever since we just hung out. LIAM: Eu também. Faz uma eternidade desde que apenas saímos juntos.

MAYA: I know! Okay, let me grab my shoes and we can go. MAYA: Eu sei! Ok, deixa eu pegar meus sapatos e podemos ir.

LIAM: Sounds good. I’ll get my sunglasses. LIAM: Parece bom. Vou pegar meus óculos de sol.

They get up and head toward the door. Eles se levantam e vão em direção à porta.
