Sally: Hi Mr. Henry.

Mr. Henry: Good morning, Sally. Feeling better today?

Sally: Yeah, much better. Sorry I missed class yesterday—I had a really bad headache.

Mr. Henry: No worries. I’m glad you’re back. Do you have a note from your parents?

Sally: Oh, yes! Here it is.

Mr. Henry: Perfect, thank you. So, you’ll need to catch up on yesterday’s lesson.

Sally: That’s actually why I’m here. What did I miss?

Mr. Henry: We covered Chapter 6—World War I. Today we’re having a discussion about it, so you should read it before class if possible.

Sally: Okay, I’ll read it during study hall. Is there any other homework I need to make up?

Mr. Henry: Just the reading for now. We’ll have a quiz on Friday though, so make sure you review your notes.

Sally: Got it. Thanks for letting me know!

Mr. Henry: No problem. See you in class.

Sally: See you!
