Holly: Hey Natalie! Did you get my birthday invitation?

Natalie: Yes! Thanks for inviting me. It’s this Saturday at seven, right?

Holly: Exactly—at my parents’ house. Can you make it?

Natalie: I think so, but I might be a little late. I have a basketball game in Kyiv that afternoon at one.

Holly: Oh, when does it usually end?

Natalie: Should be done by four, but with travel time… I’m thinking I might not get there until eight. Is that okay?

Holly: Of course! I’d way rather have you come late than not at all.

Natalie: You’re the best! I’ll text you when I’m on my way.

Holly: Perfect! And hey, good luck with your game.

Natalie: Thanks! I’ll do my best to get there as early as I can.

Holly: No rush—just get there safely. See you Saturday!Natalie: See you then!

Natalie: Yes! Thanks for inviting me. It’s this Saturday at seven, right? Natalie: Sim! Obrigada por me convidar. É neste sábado às sete, certo?

Holly: Exactly—at my parents’ house. Can you make it? Holly: Exatamente—na casa dos meus pais. Você consegue ir?

Natalie: I think so, but I might be a little late. I have a basketball game in Kyiv that afternoon at one. Natalie: Acho que sim, mas posso me atrasar um pouco. Tenho um jogo de basquete em Kiev naquela tarde à uma.

Holly: Oh, when does it usually end? Holly: Oh, quando geralmente termina?

Natalie: Should be done by four, but with travel time… I’m thinking I might not get there until eight. Is that okay? Natalie: Deve terminar às quatro, mas com o tempo de viagem… estou pensando que talvez não chegue lá até as oito. Está tudo bem?

Holly: Of course! I’d way rather have you come late than not at all. Holly: Claro! Eu prefiro muito mais que você chegue atrasada do que não venha.

Natalie: You’re the best! I’ll text you when I’m on my way. Natalie: Você é a melhor! Vou te mandar mensagem quando estiver a caminho.

Holly: Perfect! And hey, good luck with your game. Holly: Perfeito! E ei, boa sorte com seu jogo.

Natalie: Thanks! I’ll do my best to get there as early as I can. Natalie: Obrigada! Vou fazer o meu melhor para chegar lá o mais cedo que puder.
