Zach: Melanie… will you marry me?

Melanie: Yes! Oh my god, yes!

Zach: I was really hoping you’d say that. So… have you thought about where you want to go for our honeymoon?

Melanie: Are you kidding? I just said yes two seconds ago! Um… what about Paris? It’s supposed to be so romantic, and I’ve never been.

Zach: Paris would be amazing, but… what if we did something a little more adventurous?

Melanie: Like what?

Zach: I’m thinking somewhere tropical. What about Brazil?

Melanie: Brazil? Wait, that’s actually brilliant! Beautiful beaches, rainforests… we could even take a boat down the Amazon!

Zach: Right? That would be an incredible honeymoon.

Melanie: Absolutely! But hold on—aren’t we getting married in the summer? It’s going to be crazy hot in Brazil that time of year.

Zach: Oh… yeah, you’re right. Maybe we need somewhere a bit cooler.

Melanie: Wait, what if we go somewhere south of the equator? Then it’ll be winter there!

Zach: That’s genius! See, this is why I’m marrying you.

Melanie: We could go to Argentina! We could go skiing in the Andes!

Zach: Our friends would be so jealous.

Melanie: Let’s do it!Zach: Argentina it is, then!

[Park bench at sunset. Zach gets down on one knee] [Banco do parque ao pôr do sol. Zach se ajoelha]

Zach: Melanie… will you marry me? Zach: Melanie… você quer se casar comigo?

Melanie: Yes! Oh my god, yes! Melanie: Sim! Ai meu Deus, sim!

Zach: I was really hoping you’d say that. So… have you thought about where you want to go for our honeymoon? Zach: Eu estava realmente esperando que você dissesse isso. Então… você pensou em onde quer ir para nossa lua de mel?

Melanie: Are you kidding? I just said yes two seconds ago! Um… what about Paris? It’s supposed to be so romantic, and I’ve never been. Melanie: Você está brincando? Eu acabei de dizer sim há dois segundos! Hum… que tal Paris? Supostamente é tão romântico, e nunca fui.

Zach: Paris would be amazing, but… what if we did something a little more adventurous? Zach: Paris seria incrível, mas… e se fizéssemos algo um pouco mais aventureiro?

Melanie: Like what? Melanie: Tipo o quê?

Zach: I’m thinking somewhere tropical. What about Brazil? Zach: Estou pensando em algum lugar tropical. Que tal Brasil?

Melanie: Brazil? Wait, that’s actually brilliant! Beautiful beaches, rainforests… we could even take a boat down the Amazon! Melanie: Brasil? Espera, isso é na verdade brilhante! Praias lindas, florestas tropicais… poderíamos até pegar um barco pelo Amazonas!

Zach: Right? That would be an incredible honeymoon. Zach: Né? Essa seria uma lua de mel incrível.

Melanie: Absolutely! But hold on—aren’t we getting married in the summer? It’s going to be crazy hot in Brazil that time of year. Melanie: Absolutamente! Mas espera—não vamos nos casar no verão? Vai estar um calor louco no Brasil nessa época do ano.

Zach: Oh… yeah, you’re right. Maybe we need somewhere a bit cooler. Zach: Ah… é, você está certa. Talvez precisemos de algum lugar um pouco mais fresco.

Melanie: Wait, what if we go somewhere south of the equator? Then it’ll be winter there! Melanie: Espera, e se formos para algum lugar ao sul do equador? Então será inverno lá!

Zach: That’s genius! See, this is why I’m marrying you. Zach: Isso é genial! Viu, é por isso que estou me casando com você.

Melanie: We could go to Argentina! We could go skiing in the Andes! Melanie: Poderíamos ir para a Argentina! Poderíamos esquiar nos Andes!

Zach: Our friends would be so jealous. Zach: Nossos amigos ficariam com tanta inveja.

Melanie: Let’s do it! Melanie: Vamos fazer isso!

Zach: Argentina it is, then! Zach: Argentina então!
