[Busy London street. A tourist looks confused, holding a map. A local woman walks by]

Tourist: Excuse me! Sorry to bother you, but could you help me?

Woman: Of course! What do you need?

Tourist: This is my first time in London and I think I’m a bit lost.

Woman: Oh, no worries. Where are you trying to go?

Tourist: I’d love to see Westminster Abbey and Big Ben.

Woman: Okay, that’s easy from here. Walk down this road for about five minutes, then turn left onto Victoria Street. Keep walking for another ten minutes or so, and you’ll see Westminster Abbey and Big Ben right in front of you.

Tourist: Got it. So… left on Victoria Street, then ten more minutes. Is that right?

Woman: Exactly.

Tourist: Perfect! I also want to visit the British Museum. Can I walk there from Westminster Abbey?

Woman: Yes, you can. From the Abbey, walk along the river—to your right—until you get to Oxford Street. Turn left on Oxford Street and walk for about fifteen minutes. When you reach Park Lane, the British Museum will be just across the street.

Tourist: Okay, so along the river, left on Oxford Street, then cross Park Lane. Did I get that right?

Woman: Yes, that’s it!

Tourist: One last thing—how do I get to the Tower of London?

Woman: Ah, that’s on the opposite side of the city. You’ll want to take a taxi for that one.

Tourist: Thank you so much! You’ve been really helpful.Woman: My pleasure. Enjoy London!
