Overall, I like all of the four seasons in a year. However, my favorite of the four is autumn, also known as fall. As much as I enjoy the fresh air and warm weather of spring and summer and the cozy fireplaces and snow of winter, there is something I find special about autumn. I love watching the trees change colors from bright green to shades of red, yellow, and brown and the sky turning blue to gray. There’s something relaxing and calming about the weather cooling down and the need for sweaters and jackets. Autumn also reminds me of change and the start of something new because it is when the new school year starts. This season is also the start of rainfall and the feeling of wanting to stay inside with a cup of tea. The homeiness of autumn really makes me feel at ease and that is why it’s my favorite season of the year.
