Chloe (Store Clerk): Hi there! How can I help you today?

Ethan (Customer): Hi! I’m here to buy a pet.

Chloe: That’s great! What kind of pet are you interested in?

Ethan: Do you have any dogs?

Chloe: Yes, of course! Are you looking for a specific breed?

Ethan: Not really — just one that would make a good companion.

Chloe: We have quite a few friendly ones! Why don’t you come take a look?

Ethan: Sure!

(Chloe leads Ethan to the area where the dogs are kept.)

Chloe: Would you like a big dog or something smaller?

Ethan: Hmm… maybe a medium-sized one. What about this one here?

Chloe: Oh, I’m sorry — that dog’s already been sold. The new owner will be picking him up later today.

Ethan: Oh, that’s too bad. He’s so adorable! Do you have any others about the same size?

Chloe: Yes, we do — right over there. (She points to another kennel.)

Ethan: Aww, he’s perfect! I want to take him home right now!

Chloe: That’s wonderful! Would you like to pick up some food or toys for him, too?

Ethan: Definitely! I’ll come back in about an hour with my mom, and we’ll decide what to get then.

Chloe: Sounds good! See you soon, Ethan.Ethan: Thanks! Bye for now!
